Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Delft. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be involved in every phase of product development—from initial design concepts all the way through type approval and set-up of production - for our hydrogen storage solutions. Key Responsabilities

  • Design & Development: Participate in the design and development of hydrogen storage pressure vessels, ensuring all products meet high performance and safety standards.

  • Prototyping & Testing: Work closely with our partner company in Germany to build and test prototypes, with a willingness and ability to travel as needed for hands-on involvement in the prototyping and testing process.

  • Structural Analysis & Strategy: Contribute to the structural analysis and strategic design decisions to optimize the pressure vessel designs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with a small, tight-knit team of engineers, sharing insights and expertise to drive project success.

  • Project Management: Take ownership of specific project components, manage timelines and ensure that deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) with an understanding of composite materials being a plus but not required.

  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to Germany for prototyping and testing as required.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of German is a plus but not necessary.
